Ginza is a nostalgic, 2004-inspired social network built for people who miss the old web · when friends were friends, communities were small, and you actually wanted to log in.

Ginza is an online community that connects people through a network of friends you can trust. We are the happiest social network!
Our commitment is to build a safe and welcoming space, far from the hatred of today's networks. A place to make friends, find people who like what you like, and be whoever you want to be.
This only works if everyone here plays their part, so we ask the same of you. Be kind. Treat other people with respect, including the ones you disagree with, and assume they meant well before you assume they did not. Hate, harassment, humiliation, and cruelty have no place on Ginza, and we act on them.

What you will find here
Profiles with scraps, testimonials, photo albums, a colour theme and a song of your own. Communities with forums, polls and events. Private and group chat. Achievements, login streaks and the old karma ratings. And Bichinho, a small virtual pet to look after.
There is a Feed now, which there was not at the start. It shows what your friends and your communities have posted, in the order it happened, and nothing else · no ranking, no suggested strangers, no ads. If you would still rather not have one, you can switch the Feed off completely in your settings and Ginza goes back to working exactly as it did without it.
